Penny, 14 wks old, 20 lbs, pit/cur mix

Hello , Penny here asking you to stop in and check out my bio. I'm a sweet little Texas gal that is 14 weeks old. I'm a black mouth curr/ Pitt mix. Which is a really cool breed. I'm fearless, Kind, loyal, protective, trainable and active. That's to me sounds like a great dog. I'm working on my potty training and crate training. And I'm chill already with other dogs. Not sure about cats or human kids , but pretty sure I'll just want to play with them. I'm hoping to find my furever family before the weather gets warm so I can spend time outside and maybe do some walks with them. If you can resist my cute face and want to kiss me , get those apps in or let your volunteer know. (19)

Milo, 4 months old, beagle/hound mix, 25 lbs

Hi I’m Milo 🐶
I came all the way from Tennessee with my siblings in search of our 2nd chance on a new life. I’m not too fond of the crate because I’d rather be by my foster mom and foster dad snuggling & giving kisses to them. I am learning how to use the bathroom outside. I’m sharing my foster home with 2 cats that are crazy. I’m a handsome guy with lots of energy who likes to run on the yard and go on car rides. If you think I would make a great addition to your family you can contact your adoption volunteer or apply here.

Pepe, 1 year old, male, 45 lbs

I've got long legs for playing with friends and big ears for listening to my humans. I'm great inside the house, and know the rules set in place by the boss(the cat, he's crazy). Love laying in the sunshine and going for walks with my foster friends. All around good guy looking for a forever family to feed me and supply all the cuddles needed. (56)

Fred, 2-3 yrs old, plot hound mix

Hi my name is Fred. I am about 2-3 yrs old. I am a mix breed, but look like i have some plot hound. My foster mom calls me a chunky monkey cause the people who originally adopted me put me in a room by myself and just fed me to keep me quiet. I am over weight but working on it. I love to go for long walks and play. I also love to cuddle. I am a loud talker and people misunderstand me. I am good with cats. And I like to pick my dog friends, so with proper introduction i could be in a home with the right dog. I am crate trained. I would make a great addition to your family. (1)

Hey ya'll Kalimba here!!! I had a rough start to life down on the streets of Houston, Texas. But I left that life behind and came all the way here to Buffalo to find the perfect family to spend my life with!!!
I'm a mixed breed boy weighing around 50 lbs and the humans guess I'm around 2 years old. I have a lot of energy so would do best with an active family. But don't let that fool you bc I also have a huge soft side!!! I love to snuggle up and am so full of love ❤️ Bc of my rough start I never had anyone to teach me anything. I'm now learning my manners and how to live in a home. I'm doing really good and am a smart boy, but I do still have more to learn so my family will need to be patient and continue working with me. So far I'm housebroken, crate trained, walk good on my leash and have learned multiple basic commands. With proper introductions I do well with dogs my own size or bigger, but no small dogs or cats please. Due to my energy and strength at this time it's best that I don't live with small children. I'm up to date on my vaccines, neutered and microchipped. If you think I might be the right dog for you get your application filled out today and let's meet!!! (1)

Hello. My name is Shelly, I am a 14 month old jack russell/chihuahua. I came from Texas looking for my forever home. My foster mom calls me her little Princess. I was abandoned in a house and left to survive on my own. I am very scared when I first meet you and can be nippy cause I have trust issues. My foster Mom says she doesnt blame me and I need a lot of love and patience. But within a week I was following her thru the house! I love to play tug of war and I get along with the other foster dogs. I am not sure how I would get along with cats or children. I am learning potty outside and doing good. My foster mom says I am a good girl, and I trust her, she can pick me up and cuddle, give me a bath. If you think I could be a match for your home and you can give me love, patience and time, please contact Buddys Second Chance Rescue. (47)

Okra, female, pit mix, 2 years old, 35-40 lbs

Hi there, Okra here! I am a two year old pit mix looking for my loving furever home! I like to be boss lady so would probably do best in a family with no dogs, but I am one sweetheart who loves to snuggle her humans. I’m a youngin with lots of energy so I would need to get out and stretch them legs of mine and chase after a ball. I walk good on a leash, sometimes I pull just because I’m excited about our adventure and am both house trained and crate trained. Please send in an application if you’re interested in making me apart of your family! (40)

Sally, cattle dog mix, 7 years old, 65 lbs

Hi Buffalo peeps!!! I'm Sally , a very young at heart, energetic 7-8 year old hound/ cattle dog mix. I'm potty trained and I enjoy going into my crate at night. I'm the perfect dog if you like to hike or go running. Or even playing fetch. I'm doing really well being trained to run and walk off leash. Oo let me add I'm very food and treat motivated. I'm going to need a strong leader because of my breed I'm a working dog and I need structure and commands and lots of praise. And because my life hasn't been the best I'll need slow introduction to new people and dogs. But don't get wrong, once I'm comfortable I'll be on my back for belly rubs or begging for cuddles. I'm truly a great loving dog ... Ooo and I do like my quite time so I probably do best with a home where kids are 10 and older. And we aren't sure if I like cats. So if your interested please let your human volunteer know or apply at our great website. I've been in boarding since December please help me find a furever home. (19)
