**A Truly Unique Adoption Event with Buddy’s Adoptable Dogs, Merch and Some Amazing 7th Graders at Queen of Heaven!**
As part of their literature curriculum, 7th grade students read Catherine Hyde’s novel, Pay It Forward, which is a novel that encompasses the idea that anyone, even a child, can change the world for the better. Upon completion of the novel, students work together and are asked to come up with a kindness project idea that can help to change the world, or pay it forward, with one small task.
While this project is submitted to the national organization, Pay It Forward, students are not expected to follow through on project completion- they are only to come up with the idea. This year, one of our groups, with the help of parents and our school, have taken their project to the next level and have coordinated an event that will be held at our school.
Morgan, Jessa, and Katie, creators of “Paws to the Rescue,” have made it their goal to help animals find their furever home. These ladies have been in contact with a local rescue, Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue, and will be hosting an adoption event at Q of H on June 1st from 12pm-3pm. All are welcome to come by and see some furry friends looking for their furever home-tell your neighbors, friends, coworkers, everyone! And if you’re not looking to adopt but would still like to support these ladies, donations are also being accepted!
